Arjun Vishwanth is a seasoned Litigator and advocate, with a strong foundation in practicing litigation in general. As part of his practice, Arjun regularly appears before the Superior Court of Justice and the Divisional Court in Ontario. Arjun has also appeared before the Court of Appeals in Ontario, the Federal Court, Licensing Appeal Tribunals. As part of his regulatory advice, Arjun constantly communicates with the Secretary- Department of Transportation, FMCSA, Canadian Border Service Agency (CBSA) and U.S. Customs and Border Protection Agency (CBP). In addition, Arjun is routinely involved with dealing and resolving issues arising from questions to carries at State Scale Crossings (State and Highway Patrol). Arjun is involved in-depth into Insurance Regulatory compliance and Insurance Claims for Commercial Motor Vehicles in North America. Arjun also advices and provides comprehensive legislative framework to ELD manufacturers under the Final Rule Guidelines set out in 2002, 2006, 2008, 2014, and 2015 by the FMCSA. Arjun is currently tasked with providing his clients with updates to the NAFTA regime under the USMCA, and the current tariff regulations implemented by the Trump Administration as it applies to Canada and China. Arjun is also involved in drafting a legislative guide for Implementation phase for ELD mandate in Canada, and Oceanic Countries, as an initial observer input and primer input to the similar legislation mandate.
