As the Head of Sustainable Finance Hub at Melbourne Climate Futures, I lead a new initiative that leverages research and partnerships to mobilize public and private finance for addressing global climate and biodiversity crises. With over 10+ years of experience in the law and economics of sustainability, I have a PhD from Stanford University as a Sir John Monash Scholar and honors degrees from the Australian National University.I have worked on these topics globally, including in Southeast Asia, US, and Australia, where I have advised governments, development banks, financial institutions, and global corporations on various aspects of climate change law, policy, and finance. My research has been published in Nature, Science, Harvard Environmental Law Review, among others, and has received multiple awards, such as the Paul Burke Award and the Young Gun Award. I am also an experienced non-executive board director, currently serving on the board of CarbonPlan, a non-profit organization that evaluates and monitors carbon removal efforts.
