As the Global Head of Partnerships, Group Communications at DP World, I started the Partnerships function at DP World. In my role, I enable people to develop, lead and manage opportunities to build the brand reputation and achieve commercial objectives for the organisation. The Partnerships function at DP World manages the global 150+ portfolio of Partnerships, Sponsorships, Events, Activations, and Exec Positioning for the organization. It also acts as a bridge between Communications and Commercial. Multilateral organisations, rights holders in Sports, B2B platforms such as events and exhibitions and academic institutions are the partnerships managed within the function.I manage the team that establish and operate the Centre of Excellence programme for Partnerships, Sponsorships, Events and Exhibitions for 150+ of DP World Group's operations. Within this programme, I manage our relationships with global sports marketing agencies, experiential and events management agencies and also agencies for communications activities. Additionally, my team also evaluates and manages the Group Chairman & CEO's activities for all external engagements and the setting up and management of the global merchandising and web-store programme, a one-stop-shop for all DP World branded items.Head of DP World Tour at DP World.

www.gpj.com IBM • Accomplishments:- IBM MEA Sales Academy, a five-day-event, 1,500 attendees from the Middle East and Africa region and managing a team of 35 event managers. The event had an exhibition area, one main tent and 50 breakout rooms - each room would turn around every hour to fit a different business unit and its requirements- IBM Smarter Leadership Summit, leading a team of 30 people. The event was attended by over400 C-level executives from the region and generated a pipeline of USD 132M for IBM.
