CurrentI'm beyond thrilled to be nominated as a Member of YSALI from the US Department of State. YSALI, or the Young South Asian Leaders Initiative, brings together youth from South Asian countries including Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka. The goal is to address shared challenges and realize opportunities related to economic prosperity through entrepreneurship, environmental resilience, and civic engagement, while fostering leadership and collaboration among young leaders in the region. The University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) will implement YSALI in conjunction with the East-West Center (EWC).
