I am the "Product Lead" for the FHIR Analytics Collaborative, who's first major project is the SQL on FHIR v2 standard. SQL on FHIR v2 is a new, open standard for the transformation of FHIR data into SQL-compatible tables.By unlocking the tabular data analytics to be applied to FHIR data, SQL on FHIR fills a long-standing gap in the health data ecosystem enabling both new and existing use cases.I actively facilitate the technical decisions of the group and the lead efforts around collaboration and community engagement, short and long-term planning, marketing/events, sponsorships/grants and project governance.In the past year my efforts have resulted in:- The release of the Milestone #1 of the SQL on FHIR specification- The development of 9+ implementations including opensource and commercial options- Presentations at major events (e.g. DevDays)- A 1 day SQL on FHIR focused conference with over 500 attendees - The incorporation of SQL on FHIR into standard FHIR IG tooling- The rapid development of innovative systems and expanded use cases
