I led a team of UX researchers, designers and developers to cater to both the requirements. Through carrier integrations, I facilitated brands in expanding their reach to 60 additional countries across 10 marketplaces. Additionally, I implemented Machine Learning features that significantly enhanced warehouse efficiency by preemptively identifying and isolating error orders, resulting in a remarkable 30% increase in order throughput and a 98% on-time fulfilment rate across our six global warehouses. In support of our brands' customer engagement efforts, I developed a feature that enables brands to deliver targeted promotions to their customers, resulting in a substantial 17% increase in customer retention.

Taking India's first opinion trading platform to a million usersAt TradeX, our goal was not merely to dominate the opinion trading market but also to expand it into adjacent markets such as fantasy sports. Our objective was to increase visibility in the gaming market and provide a seamless, trustworthy trading experience to incentivize user engagement and learning. To accomplish this,I led a team of marketers, designers and developers to systematically improve platform visibility and performance. To increase awareness, we strategically secured a position on Google Play Store's Gaming Trial in India, thereby instantly boosting user confidence and expanding our user base. We confronted adoption challenges head-on by nurturing the TradeX community and introducing initiatives such as TradeX Academy and Gamified User Onboarding. To address issues related to system crashes during demand spikes, we ensured a 99% system uptime by rewriting our backend in GoLang and enhancing the user experience with React, creating a unified platform for both mobile and desktop applications. Finally, we resolved delayed customer complaints by seamlessly integrating a third-party CRM, resulting in a significant reduction in resolution times to just hours, and offering 24x7 chat support.

Optimizing the core shopping experience and monetizing customer data As the owner of our data products, I focused on scalability and revenue growth. A major challenge faced by Product and Design included poor hypothesis testing and slow results, which hindered product development. I led efforts to create a system for running concurrent A/B tests, enabling faster iterations. The platform was leveraged to identify the right search vendor and became the biggest needle mover that quarter. I then turned my attention to leveraging data to boost platform revenue. Collaborating with data science and engineering, we developed a checkout recommendation system that increased order size by 6%. I also mentored analysts, expanding our exploration and supply chain capabilities, and strengthening our position as an industry leader in online grocery delivery.

Helping product, business and operations make informed decisions. As the analytics leader for the storefront, I drove data-driven decisions across product and business operations. I crafted universal personas in collaboration with marketing that eventually became the stencil for business. I also created a pricing and promo generator tool that reduced serving costs by 20%, minimizing the liquidation of expiring inventory and supporting operations effectively.

Making travel affordable and accessible for 1.5 million customers, everydayMy mission at Ola was to make travel more affordable for our customers. Leading pricing operations across four countries, I implemented a series of strategies to achieve this objective. Using advanced Machine Learning Algorithms, I optimised pricing by analysing vast amounts of data, evaluating demand and supply through geo-hashes. This approach not only enhanced driver acceptance rates but also ensured more completed trips. I also introduced prepaid ride passes for Pool users, boosting user engagement. To tackle driver scarcity during peak hours, I implemented heat maps to guide drivers effectively, improving the overall customer experience. During the pandemic, I launched an emergency service across 60+ cities, providing essential healthcare access to our valued customers. These initiatives not only maintained Ola's competitive edge but also empowered two million customers to travel affordably and conveniently.
