Responsibilities for developing advanced analytics models to solve complex business problems for Applied's Spares and Service parts business. Cross-functional role spanning areas in Marketing, Planning and Operations, Logistics and Finance. Responsibilities included evaluating product portfolios to determine revenue and margin improvement opportunities, understanding customer trends and performance; and working with the product and sales teams to drive market share growth. Developed and implemented a large-scale multi-item, multi-echelon inventory optimizer for planning Applied Material’s spare parts inventory worldwide. Worked actively with global planners and senior managers to drive the change management process and help define overall part planning strategy.Implemented tools for inventory redistribution, batch ordering and integrated network design and inventory optimization to recommend the best supply chain for every part (factoring in logistics, global tax rates, trade laws, etc).
