I am currently a final year Dual Degree (Bachelor's + Master's) student at the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, majoring in the field of Mechanical Engineering - and specializing in Thermal and Fluids Engineering.I have always had a fascination in and aptitude for physics and applied mathematics and their respective applications in solving scientific as well as engineering problems, leading me to pursue an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering.In particular, I have a keen interest in continuum mechanics - in both solid and fluid mechanics as well as their associated fields such as thermodynamics and heat transfer. I have a working knowledge of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) - in both FDM and FVM - and hope to expand my knowledge of CFD algorithms and computing systems so as to better simulate fluid dynamics scenarios in order to solve challenging engineering problems, especially in the domain of microfluidics and multi-phase flows.
