Results-driven, action-based, inclusive leader with over 15 years of experience in marketing communications and strategic planning across Public, Private, and Nonprofit sectors.Current and past roles have equipped me with the tools to work in an atmosphere of ambiguity, rapid change, and involving sensitive issues and information; while producing, tracking, and managing multiple deliverables with overlapping deadlines for interdepartmental and external teams. I specialize in building and improving programs, processes, systems, and strategies by simplifying complexity and embedding them into the workflow to optimize performance and experience.As a creative consultant, I’ve worked on projects for companies such as Amazon, Zillow, DocuSign, Nike, and Dime Magazine, among others. As a Sr. Project Development Manager at the City of Seattle, I lead planning, development and implementation of equitable and inclusive programs for outreach to historically underserved communities. In collaboration with senior leaders, elected officials, and various stakeholders, I work on the strategic development and implementation of new initiatives and policies that enhance equity and create a fair and healthy economy for workers, businesses, and residents.I am passionate about creating a culture of belonging, advocating for advancement opportunities that will have a direct impact on communities of color, and leveraging my own lived experiences to reduce the stigma surrounding mental health issues. Currently, I sit on the board of trustees of the RAVE Foundation and serve on three committees. RAVE builds small fields for free play and uses soccer as a vehicle to inspire youth and strengthen communities across WA state.My intersectionality has laid a foundation for the collaborative and innovative approach I bring to the projects I work on. I leverage my creative background to develop culturally relevant strategies and campaigns to transform behavior and establish meaningful relationships. Additionally, I’m skilled at facilitating small and large community conversations in both Spanish and English to ensure that every voice is heard.
