About Arlene Bamforth

I worked in Salford Royal for just under 8 years in various departments. These included neurosurgery, ICU and then moving onto haematology. Once in haematology I attended Clatterbridge to complete training in administration of chemotherapy. I now work as a ward sister at The Christie in Manchester. The ward I work in is focused on haematology disorders and carries out stem cell transplants and has newly started delivering CAR-T cell therapy. As well as adults on this ward I also nurse teenagers and young adults (16-24) with oncology and haematological disorders.
