I can be hired for any type of event that would benefit from live music. Be it background music or a musical performance, jazz is very adaptable to all situations. I work as a solo pianist as well as with a number of musicians that would include bass, drums, saxophone, trombone, etc.I am also available as an electronic copyist: that would be notating hand written musical scores or pieces using the computer program Finale. This includes complete scores as well as individual parts and lead sheets.

I teach one hour private jazz piano lessons at the MSU Community Music School. Lessons include instruction on improvisation, jazz piano voicings, and lead sheet reading. Basic piano skills, music reading, and knowledge of major scales is required.
