I was recruited into a new role as Vice President and US Director of Client Accounting. Managing a department of 17 full time staff including Cashiers, Credit and Consignor Payables, I was responsible for all client financial transactions relating to purchases and sales as well as collaborating with senior specialists and executive management to provide exceptional and comprehensive customer service for high net worth and valued clientele.

Recruited to build the Client Accounting Department, introduce policy and procedures, manage risk and internal controls and help to elevate the profile of the company in the marketplace. Responsible for processing and overseeing all client financial transactions (New York, London and Geneva) related to purchases and sales including all confidential deals.

Upon college graduation, I began my career at Sotheby's as a Credit and Collections Administrator. I was promoted to an Account Manager for the collecting categories of Jewelry, Impressionist and Modern Paintings, Single Owner Sales and Books, Coins and Stamps. Further promotions followed as Assistant Vice President and Assistant Treasurer then Vice President and North American Treasurer. During my tenure at Sotheby's, I was fortunate to assume additional and challenging responsibilities as the art market flourished. I managed the implementation of a customized A/R system and day-to-day operations of the Client Accounts Department including credit and debt collection and developing strong and lasting client relationships.
