Supervisor: Micheal Covaney, DDS. 757-596-6850 / Sharon Covaney 757-596-6850Duties: Performed duties associated with position as head assistant and coordinator with advanced prosthodontic procedures which include 3-D / CT imageing for implant technology (TIAH/Hybrid Prosthesis) and full mouth reconstruction. Included assisting local referring surgeons as required for special procedures. Responsible with ordering all dental materials and supplies for operative procedures. Responsible for organizing the practice schedule, managing staff relations and supply ordering and inventory control. Serves as liaison with referring doctors and dental laboratories. Excellent communication skills with the ability to establish a great rapport with patients and to provide education based on individual needs. Highly successful in promoting cosmetic dentistry or other recommended procedures to enhance the patients self image and maximize dental health.
