I am an artist by nature, a teacher by inclination, and a marketer by profession. I founded Content That Counts in 2002, after leaving my career in corporate IT sales, marketing, operations and government relations. In 2006, Content That Counts was recognized by the Arlington Virginia Chamber of Commerce with an ABBIE Award for Small Business of the Year. I am now living in Los Angeles and work with clients located here and across the country. Creativity is a habit that grows with use. My value as a web consultant is increased by the teaching I do and artwork I make. Teaching demands creativity and I've become a better artist because of the challenges my students present to me and the directions they take me that I might not chose on my own.Web consulting brings together all my skills and talents. My web niche is work with small businesses - independents, professionals, non-profits - that need to get on the web for the first time or do not have someone to update and maintain their presence. I believe the best new website for a small business is a small one that can grow as the owner of the site realizes the potential of a web. Technology changes and so should a web presence.
