I am a morning person, an avid reader, and I always appreciate a good (even bad) pun. I believe in the power of a spreadsheet and respect the weight of business decisions being made by the information on them. In my opinion there is no problem that can’t be solved by a dry-erase board, an open-mind, and a cup of coffee. I thrive in a fast-paced setting, which is why my career matured in a start-up environment. It provided me the opportunity to actively participate in rapidly growing a business while wearing many hats, juggling knives and riding a unicycle across a tightrope. In truth, it allowed me to proactively tackle problems with speed and agility, without some of the red-tape found in more corporate settings that can sometimes stall progress. I am a firm believer that constant adaptation to an ever-changing consumer expectation is the only way for sustainable growth in a business. My experience ranges across departments and while I have held numerous positions over the last decade, my role and contribution within an organization has never been limited to what is defined by a job description. I am an innovative business leader and I have been recognized for my ability to initiate and manage cross-functional teams and multi-disciplinary projects. My expertise and demonstrated strengths in product management can be applied to a multitude of industries but my focus has been DTC subscriptions because I find the problems interesting and the products impactful. I affectionately earned the nickname of “Arley-Badger” (based on the honey badger) for my persistence.
