• Responsible for the specification of PayTV security IPs.-- Definition of top level functions and interfaces.-- Flexible and configurable functionality to meet numerous varying CA Vendor requirements.-- Continuous review of design choices to catch potential security weaknesses, covering functional issues as well as fault injection and side channel vulnerabilities.-- Review of DFT insertion methodologies to prevent test mode attack paths.-- Technical Lead for the integration of three 3rd Party security IPs.• Responsible for the certification of SoCs with the two largest Conditional Access Vendors.-- Detailed requirements crosschecking.-- Feature discussions and negotiations with CA Vendor representatives.-- Security Evaluation discussions with CA Vendor teams. e.g analyzing floorplans to pinpoint critical flops for laser attacks.• Security Evaluation discussions with nominated 3rd Party Labs.-- e.g. Analysing secure boot FW to identify weak points for voltage glitch attacks.• Participate in team-level architecture of a ‘Secure Data Path' system configuration to isolate untrusted SW from high value content.• Provide system level direction to in-house ‘hacking' team to focus attacks on most vulnerable points.
