At 1898 and Co., a part of Burns & McDonnell I manage teams that build long-term capital plans for the electric utility transmission and distribution industry. The plans we create use our client's data coupled with our specialized analytics to evaluate tens of thousands of potential projects that address multiple industry issues, including aging infrastructure, distribution automation, and major event resilience. Throughout these engagements, we advise our clients what levels of investment can be justified through business cases, support them through regulatory proceedings, and provide actionable plans to reduce the time required to get from deciding where to start to scoping, estimating, and engineering. I have a passion for solving complex problems and there is no shortage of that in our industry. We are constantly innovating, incorporating new analytics, and packaging them into new solutions that help the industry think differently about business cases for transmission and distribution. Prior to 1898 and Co., I performed risk and economic analysis engagements for several multi-million-dollar capital programs and large utility systems. I have extensive experience in developing and performing a wide range of business case evaluation to help utility clients justify and defend investment decisions. I bring more than 16 years of experience in budget prioritization and optimization, asset management, business case evaluation, risk-based planning and analysis, financial modeling, economic analysis, decision analysis, Monte Carlo simulation, and investment optimization.
