As an operations specialist, I worked with various departments including Operations, Sales, Quality Assurance, and Accounting, to identify problems, analyze them, and provide solutions. I provided operational analysis and reporting related to these areas for senior management, which utilized my intermediate excel level. I assisted the sales team with complex RFP/RFQ bid preparation and vendor data requirements.I was involved in the development of procedure changes and led their implementation. I also maintained the ERP system and trained employees on it.In my supervisor role, I acted as a lead in providing direction, training, and support to the Inside Sales Team with a focus on creating a collaborative and productive working environment.

In my role as a sales coordinator for a line pipe distributor, I input purchase orders from customers and maintained positive relationships with customers throughout each project. Each order often required the creation of purchase orders to suppliers, coordination of releases from shipping yards, the collection and submission of data requirements, and the processing of invoices. In a nutshell, I organized line pipe orders from start to finish. In December 2021, I was named employee of the year for my contributions. Upon my return to school, my focus shifted for the last two years to training new employees and procedure development and enhancement.
