I graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara with a degree in Biological Sciences. During my studies, I gained practical experience in lab techniques like pipetting, centrifugation, and microscopy through advanced biology courses.I have a strong background in research. During my internship, I co-authored a paper on fruit fly decision-making, which is now under review. I mentored five students on using V-Code and MATLAB, which helped improve our team’s productivity. I analyzed over 200 behavioral assay videos each week, streamlining our data analysis process. In team meetings, I led discussions to solve data inconsistencies, which made our findings more accurate.As an Outreach Assistant, I created social media campaigns that increased student engagement and enrollment. I also organized 10 academic workshops for over 100 students, helping them with the college enrollment process. These experiences strengthened my ability to manage projects and work under tight deadlines.I have technical skills in data analysis, research, and scientific writing. I'm proficient in V-Code, MATLAB, and Excel, and I enjoy using these tools to solve complex problems and communicate scientific ideas.I'm eager to apply my skills to new research projects.
