I act as a connection between research groups around the country and our internal research, product development, business development, quality, regulatory, and executive teams to communicate complicated data and results. I stimulate, guide, support, and prioritize research and development projects to push technologies along the TRL chain. Extensive literature, patent, and market review, outreach to funding agencies and potential partners, and analytical product development support are key responsibilities. Additional Responsibilities from Previous Roles:Synthetic Chemistry and Complex Analysis: I synthesized new nanomaterial additives for hydrogen fuel cell membranes to improve performance and durability. I also developed sensitive solid-state NMR-based analytical methods for these materials to supplement and improve on site resolution of more traditional EDX / SEM based analytical methods.Project Management: I led projects involving multidisciplinary teams of scientists, engineers, and other stakeholders and multiple institutions, and was able to distill their vast amounts of data and unique experiences into meaningful, cohesive, and impactful reports and journal articles.
