I have been an active contributor to the sktime library, a comprehensive Python toolkit for time series analysis. In 2024, I had the opportunity to participate in Google Summer of Code under the mentorship of the sktime team, and I continue to contribute to the project.

I worked with sktime as a Google Summer of Code student.Sktime is a library for time series analysis in Python. It provides a unified interface for multiple time series learning tasks like classification, regression, clustering, annotation, and forecasting.My project was focused on implementing and interfacing deep learning models in sktime leveraging PyTorch and Hugging Face.

After completing research internship at TUKL-NUST R&D Center and continuing my work with Deep Learning Laboratory DLL-NUST, I was offered a research internship at Hochschule RheinMain in Wiesbaden, Germany under DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service).During this internship, I focused on the research topic "Knowledge Distillation for Document Understanding."

After completing my internship at TUKL-NUST R&D Center, I was given the opportunity to keep working on the projects under DLL-NUST.Some of the projects that I worked on:AI and Forest Fire Mitigation: Research on AI solutions for mitigating fires.Markaz App: Data Analysis and Processing for an Ecommerce app.Tree Counting Algorithm: Government Project to count trees from satellite image of Islamabad Margalla Hills.

I worked on the project "EEG Pathology Detection", which involved a detailed literature study and implementation of convolution and recurrent neural networks for time series classification.

My role involved scrapping data from different websites, maintaining data on SQL server and developing a back-end API.

My job was to build a Recommendation System to match recruitment Industries with job seekers using NLP and Machine Learning techniques in Tensorflow, Python.
