Experience is gained from 20 years in public, private and research projects world-wide involving mining, oil and gas, energy, shipping, ports, marine infrastructure development, and conservation. • 16 years of experience in preparation of Social and Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) for mining, oil and gas and infrastructure development projects;• Strong knowledge of provincial, federal and international environmental regulations, and environmental approval, permitting and compliance processes and successful experience with B.C. Environmental Assessment Act (BCEA), Canadian Impact Assessment Act, and Nunavut Land Claim Agreement, IFC standards and Equator Principles;• Knowledge of mining industry in British Columbia, Saskatchewan, Nunavut and Manitoba;• Knowledge of upstream and downstream Oil & Gas industry, Health, Safety & Environment standards, policies and procedures; • More than 10 years in project management, team leadership, financial management, training/mentoring, and achieving results through collaboration in multi-disciplinary environments;• Developing new business opportunities and preparing proposals/marketing documents.
