👋 Hi, my name is Arman Alipour. 🎓 I Studied Computer Science, Software Engineering at Carleton University. 🎓 Additionally, I have pursued extracurricular learning by completing the Google UX Design Certificate on Coursera (2023-2024) and the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner Certification Course on freeCodeCamp (2024).📚 I currently work at Nokia as an Application Engineer. I have previous development experience working at the companies BlackBerry, Dell, and Ciena as a software developer. 💻 At Nokia, I lead the development of a customer-centric web app using React, Python, and Lunar.js. This tool allows customers to filter, search, compare, and explore Nokia product features. I also created a Python backend with Django, Pandas, NumPy, and Beautiful Soup for efficient data processing in PostgreSQL. As the team's UX designer, I design and oversee multiple app interfaces, using Figma for collaborative design and prototyping. I also manage reusable React components for efficiency and consistency across projects.💻 At BlackBerry, I developed Visual Studio Code WebView extensions using Node.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML, and built front-end interfaces with the React library. I maintained BlackBerry's IDE Momentics, enhancing performance and enabling third-party extensions in Java. I developed JUnit tests and used Git, Gerrit, and Jira for version control and issue tracking.
