I used double machine learning for causal inference and robust optimization for price recommendations to maximize profit under several scenarios.2. I incubated user behavior segmentation analytics for Wayhome, Wayfair’s marketplace for assembly and installation professionals. I leveraged various advanced analytics techniques such as sequence clustering, classification models, and robust optimization. Turned technical results into actionable strategic recommendations and delivered a tool to segment users and track their segments programmatically. This initiative is supporting Wayhome growth and market management strategies.

I developed a model for allocating a marketing budget to optimize the return on marketing spending, suggesting spending policies that generate an 11% increase in return on average with respect to the original policy.I leveraged various regression-based models to estimate the relationship between marketing spending in several channels and the weekly sales of a technology product. Then, I leveraged a robust optimization model to recommend how much spending should be done in the different marketing channels to maximize the return on spending. This optimization model takes regression-based models as input and considers several scenarios of parameter misspecification.
