MSc. in Computer Engineering always interested in mobile technologies. Android development has been the main focus for years now, but started off with basic Web and Back-End development in order to serve simple mobile Java-based applications.Mobile technologies have always had limitations when it comes to hardware, so while I work on an intuitive and appealing User Interface, performance is a key area to take in consideration during the design and development phase to achieve a responsive and efficient User Experience early on for the end user. One of the most interesting and challenging aspects of developing for Android.I also consider myself an enthusiast when it comes to the latest design trends, Material Design serving as the guidelines for products for the Android OS. Whenever I have the chance, I work on personal projects to try out new frameworks, Android APIs, and practice proper architecture design via OOP and Android-specific patterns for reusable, testable, and maintainable components. Delving into a management role has gradually become part of my roles in the last few years ranging from Lead Android Developer to now Manager of Engineering. I'll continue to learn how to better support members of my teams to grow as professionals while moving forward reaching our short- and long-term objectives as a group.
