• Play a primary role in the design, management, planning, operation, maintenance, repair, installation and modification of telemetry equipment control and monitoring systems, operator interface graphics, ladder logic control, communication equipment, application programs and system support programming.• Review and monitor the database for the SCADA system to display and archive accurate information; research and evaluate new and existing operational methods, software, techniques and equipment; and, make recommendations regarding their application(s).• Plan, direct, inspect, and coordinate the development and installation of systems and equipment used in the automation/upgrading of City facilities.• Maintain SCADA servers and workstations to ensure the system and software are up-to-date, the communication between the devices and the server is working at all times, and the backups of SCADA logs are done on a routine basis and replications of backups are kept.• Represent the City and act as a liaison between the City and outside professional consultants in relation to the planning, construction, and implementation of SCADA and control systems.• Troubleshoot, repair, program, test, and perform maintenance on a variety of systems, components, and equipment relating to operation of the utility.• Read, interpret, and plan jobs from blueprints, electrical diagrams, schematics, and manufacturer instructions - as well as maintain records in such forms for industrial electrical and instrumentation, equipment, and devices.• Additional responsibilities include recording and maintaining daily activity reports, monthly statistical reports; responding to emergency call-out situations as necessary; investigating and resolving complaints related to utility maintenance and repair; and, training and instructing other staff members in the operation, maintenance, and safe work practices concerning SCADA and related equipment.

• Maintained a campus network of over 600 devices, including Windows/Apple Servers, Cisco WiFi controller and content engines, and Windows/Apple Desktops.• Created databases using FileMaker for the operation of buses, data storage of inventory, and related school needs.• Worked alongside the County to deploy multiple laptop carts used for testing under specific AD policies.• Tracked all technology assets utilized by staff and students, using county and WASP asset tracking database.• Provided daily help desk support to over 150 users.• Budgeted yearly technology spending based on the school’s needs, under the supervision of the Principal. • Additional responsibilities included ensuring all client software is up-to-date, and managing the school website by means of weekly content contribution.
