Nearly two decades of experience working in Managed Care primarily focused on service the underserved through the Medi-Cal program. As the leader of the Medi-Cal Strategy and Project Support team at Anthem Blue Cross, my team and I develop and execute strategies related to improving provider performance, creating provider incentives, deploying Telehealth solutions, and implementing new regulatory programs.We support the enhanced oversight of our delegated entities by bringing together cross-functional teams and leaders to review and manage delegate performance across various domains including Delegation Oversight, Encounters, Grievances and Appeals, Network Compliance, and Quality.As part of Network Compliance, we collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure adherence to regulatory requirement including the Annual Network Certification, Subcontractor Network Certification, and Provider Appointment Availability Survey requirements. Additionally, we work closely with State Regulators, associations, providers, and internal teams to implement state programs such as Prop 56, Targeted Rate Increase, and the FQHC Alternative Payment Methodology.
