Usually, I take part in every phase of the application development life cycle - from analysis until delivery/go-live implementation.

As a member of the Enterprise Application Integration team, I've been responsible for multiple projects in the Financial Services area (Banking), with a focus on Trading Room applications - high performance, high availability applications. Besides being responsible for design and implementations of several applications in an EAI perspective, I've also taken part in some in-house/custom application development - being, most of the times, a bridge between an application development perspective and an integration perspective - with Calypso as the most notable one. Initially I was a member of the Front and Middle Office team and later, due to some critical and unforeseen circumstances, I took part of the Back Office team - having a privileged access to the full picture (Front-Middle-Back Office).

As a researcher at Laboratório UbiNET, I had the opportunity to work with some of the most talented portuguese people in the computer security field. Our main objectives were related to offensive security and our skill set allowed us to establish a partnership with various companies as well as some government agencies. We developed HackLab - a fully customizable platform for a safe penetration testing environment. Besides the endless customization possibilities, we also had a series of video tutorials (e-learning content) thus allowing our users to learn computer security on a higher depth.
