As a member of the LoonSnow team, I look forward to shaping our creative vision and establishing design practices that will drive LoonSnow's continued success in the gaming industry.My role involves:- Conceptualizing and designing compelling gameplay mechanics, systems, and features for our projects.- Creating and maintaining design documentation, including game design documents (GDDs), level designs, and feature specifications.- Collaborating closely with artists, programmers, and other team members to implement and iterate on game designs.- Developing game narratives, character arcs, and world-building elements to enhance player immersion.- Designing and balancing in-game economies, progression systems, and reward structures.- Creating and iterating on level layouts, mission structures, and gameplay scenarios.- Conducting playtesting sessions, analyzing player feedback, and making data-driven design decisions to improve game quality.- Staying current with industry trends and competitor products to inform our design choices.- Mentoring and guiding junior team members as we expand our game design department.- Participating in brainstorming sessions to generate new game concepts and innovative features.- Working with the art team to ensure visual elements align with and enhance gameplay design.- Collaborating with the programming team to ensure technical feasibility of design ideas and optimize performance.- Presenting design concepts and progress updates to stakeholders and incorporating feedback into the development process.
