In my current role as a member of the Enterprise Networking CTO team, I focus on developing disruptive technologies that bring simplicity and security to Cisco and the broader networking community. I currently lead the following research and development efforts:• Networking for Low Earth Orbit (LEO) Satellites• Network Digital Twin• Large Language Models for Network Automation Machine Learning and Reinforcement Learning have been key enablers behind the success of these initiatives. Leveraging machine learning techniques, I have developed models to predict crucial network parameters such as delay, jitter, and bandwidth, enabling more accurate and efficient network operations. Furthermore, by applying reinforcement learning, I have been able to identify optimal operating regimes for numerous controllers, optimizing their performance and functionality.Prior to Cisco, I was a researcher at MIT focusing on advanced algorithms to improve the resiliency of computer networks, and automating their management using AI / ML solutions.Driven by a passion for cutting-edge technologies and a commitment to driving innovation, I thrive in dynamic environments where I can collaborate with diverse teams to bring bold ideas to life.
