I am an inventor, investor and hands-on entrepreneur, who has built and sold several companies. I currently run a Venture Building Think Tank called b.labs, that has developed a portfolio of mostly homegrown tech startups. At b.labs, we invest in, invent, guide and support (through various tech and marketing services from our In-House Agency, Blueliner) disruptive new products and companies, across a variety of industries, including Health & Wellness, Tourism, eGaming, Fintech and Cryptocurrency/Blockchain. We recently exited Ajustco @ a 20x growth on its startup valuation, with myself and b.labs as Co-Founders.Where I am at my best is in developing strategies and planning out the implementation of ambitious, disruptive tech projects - from product development to marketing and operations. I like to get in the weeds on the numbers, and ensure that all of the underlying assumptions and financial models are practical, which is extremely challenging to do with startups and new business models.One of my recent new companies, Kidcoin, is changing the way families and kids learn about money - Financial Literacy or Capability - through a gamified App - where kids learn, earn, spend, save, invest and give back to their community within a secure, vetted digital ecosystem.In 2020, we've also launched Bemoved, a Travel Tech concierge service - not at an ideal time given COVID-19, but we are adjusting strategy and timing accordingly, and Tourism will bounce back strong I believe later this year.Lastly, and not to play favorites, but this will be big - Basement Sports - a Mixed Reality Sports Gaming venture that will change the way kids play in a dramatically positive, healthy way.Other ventures in the current portfolio include Timebug (Personal Development & Goal Setting App), 7 Pillars of Digital Marketing (Online & Live Professional Development Courses) and The Advocator (Political Crowdfunding Application).
