Through a combination of science and policy, I’m looking for ways to integrate environmental performance into the qualities of good design. My research is driven by the desire to create a built environment that mitigates global increases in energy pollution while facilitating communities that are inspiring, comfortable, and healthy. My current work incorporates elements of systems modeling, scenario development, and data synthesis to quantify the potential energy, economic, and air pollutant impacts associated with the large-scale adoption of emerging clean energy technologies for buildings and consumer electronics.Specialties: Environmental consulting; Life Cycle Assessment; energy efficiency engineering; Techno-Economic Analysis, air quality engineering; supply chain systems modeling, green building certification; LEED AP; energy policy, data centers; information and communication technology; energy technology evaluation and education.
