-Functioned as my unit's Office of Information Security Ambassador, engaged in supporting information security awareness and education goals of the office. Engaged with preparation for Mayo Clinic's SOC2 compliance report, including development of system continuity plans. Upheld legislative, regulatory, and privacy requirements compliance by leading the technical team responsible for secure electronic transmission of reportable laboratory results from Mayo Clinic to state health agencies. Applied cryptography and managed Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) with external clients daily in support of the secure transmission of reportable laboratory results to state health agencies. Used LDAP in conjunction with PKI when looking up state agency public certificates. Used VPN daily for both telecommuting and for securely connecting via TCP/IP to external Mayo Clinic clients. Administered role-based and discretionary access control for access to internal servers. Involved with all steps of incident management, particularly with developed system interfaces and with secure transmissions to state health agencies. Regularly used robust internal change management processes.Implemented, configured, tested, and supported internal and external laboratory system interfaces using Infor Cloverleaf Integration and Information Exchange Suite versions 5.7 and 6.1, and IBM Integration Bus version 10; created and tested custom interfaces for the Electronic Laboratory Reporting project.

-Implemented, configured, and tested laboratory system interfaces using the Cloverleaf Pathways Interface Manager. Typically functioned in teams of three which included a project manager and client services specialist. Full software lifecycles were implemented for all interfaces.-Created and tested custom interfaces for the Mayo Medical Laboratories Reportable Diseases project. Used the CDC's Public Health Information Network Messaging System (PHINMS) in coordination with the Cloverleaf application in order to deliver secure patient data reporting to over thirty state departments of health. Worked with technical representatives of these departments in order to develop secure data transfers, both through PHINMS and through custom methods.-Developed four interfaces for the Mayo Clinic's LabPACE initiative, concerned with the replacement of the primary laboratory information system.

(OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital, formerly MedCentral Health System)-Maintain MedCentral’s Cloverleaf Pathways Interface Manager and all hospital interfaces that run within it, which involves the everyday use of TCL/Tk, HP-UX, and the HL7 data standard (versions 2.1 through 2.3).-Implement new information interfaces as needed, including interfaces for Par Excellence, McKesson’s Surgi-Server and Connect-Rx software, and configure systems to work with McKesson’s Precision 2000 HIS product. Design, test, and implement point-to-point interfaces.-Communicate daily with intra-hospital management, vendors, and interface contacts; hold substantial responsibility for enabling data flow between most major hospital systems.
