Current-Functioned as my unit's Office of Information Security Ambassador, engaged in supporting information security awareness and education goals of the office. Engaged with preparation for Mayo Clinic's SOC2 compliance report, including development of system continuity plans. Upheld legislative, regulatory, and privacy requirements compliance by leading the technical team responsible for secure electronic transmission of reportable laboratory results from Mayo Clinic to state health agencies. Applied cryptography and managed Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) with external clients daily in support of the secure transmission of reportable laboratory results to state health agencies. Used LDAP in conjunction with PKI when looking up state agency public certificates. Used VPN daily for both telecommuting and for securely connecting via TCP/IP to external Mayo Clinic clients. Administered role-based and discretionary access control for access to internal servers. Involved with all steps of incident management, particularly with developed system interfaces and with secure transmissions to state health agencies. Regularly used robust internal change management processes.Implemented, configured, tested, and supported internal and external laboratory system interfaces using Infor Cloverleaf Integration and Information Exchange Suite versions 5.7 and 6.1, and IBM Integration Bus version 10; created and tested custom interfaces for the Electronic Laboratory Reporting project.
