• Review and post incoming invoices and outstanding sales invoices, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and appropriate approvals.• Implement internal controls to ensure that invoices are accurately coded and classified according to proper general ledger accounts and cost centers.• Develop a three-way matching process that requires matching invoices with purchase orders, order receipts and invoices to ensure accurate billing.• Conduct quarterly physical inventory counts and ensure it ties with information in the system.• Ensure timely reconciliation of intercompany balances and transactions.• Request monthly, from the AP team and AR team, supplier, and client accounts reconciliations to ensure all transactions are completely accounted for and any variances observed explained.• Keep an accurate fixed asset register and review depreciation and amortization calculations for accuracy.• Liaise with treasury department and generate payments for approved invoices on due dates based on a predefined payment schedule, considering cashflow and payment terms.• Reconcile bank statements with ERP records to ensure accurate cash balances and update cashflow forecasts based on actual monthly inflows and outflows.• Investigate and address significant variances between forecasted and actual cash flows and provide management with guidance on future cash position and budget requirements.• Monitor changes in bank policies and regulations that may impact cash management.• Implement and monitor petty cash controls to safeguard cash on hand and prevent misappropriation.• Coordinate general ledger accounts reconciliation and advise on monthly financial reporting through BPC to head office is done in accordance with group policies.• Work closely with external auditors for financial and statutory audits.• Assist Finance manager to prepare financial statements based on audited account balances and follow up on audit findings.• Establish monthly the CFO and Management report.
