Hello,I was born and raised in Austria, where I went to a 5 year engineering High School (international level of diploma = ISCED 4A). My specialization was in Power Engineering and Industrial Electronics.After that I attended the University of Salzburg and got my Masters degree in Education.I have worked several different jobs over the years, especially the last couple of years because of my permanent relocation the the US, which happened in November last year. Since March I have my Green Card and am legally allowed to work in the US.I am fully bilingual (English and German) and have worked in several branches and as a teacher in schools. In 2011, for example, I did a 6 week internship for B&R in the UK as an engineer before starting college.Last year I also worked for B&R headquarters in Austria, because I found that my heart was unfortunately not into teaching (especially when COVID struck). There, I assembled industrial grade PCs and Power Panels, before being promoted to a very exciting office job for delivery scheduling. I absolutely loved this job and only gave it up, because of the aforementioned relocation across the pond (if the heart wants something, you often have no choice).At this job I was working in a small team of 3 and we were responsible for planning the production of different devices that B&R sells. That meant we had to work closely with the Supply Chain team, Sales, Production Scheduling and the Order and Logistics team. Our main tools were SAP and Excel spreadsheets and each day was a different "puzzle" to be solved to streamline processes, give out delivery times that were as fast as possible, while also realistic and dealing with escalation orders that customers needed sooner.I would definitely love to find something along those lines again, because I thrived in this job.Overall I think my strengths are that I am hard working, a real team player, technically averse, always open to learn new things and you will never see me come into work without a smile and a "let's do this" mentality. I pick up new things very quickly and put all my heart into my work.
