Remotely supported the mobile devices of a national traveling team of electricians. Business uptime was maximized by preemptively analyzing and optimizing the corporate WAN. I helped the business be more competitive by introducing technologies including remote client/server support, Microsoft Application Virtualization (App-V), and Sage 50 Quantum Accounting. Security was increased across the network as I introduced Cisco appliances and constructed traffic shaping rules. I maintained QoS for critical traffic from VPN, VoIP, and IP cameras.

Working under the supervision of St. Louis Zoo Ph.D. I consulted the public on the care of exotic animals: operated in-store commercial aquatic systems and performed routine water testing and correction. I provided daily care to aquatic livestock and all other in-store livestock: administering pharmaceuticals under veterinarian direction and managing end of life care.

Reported to VP of Marketing and modeled social media strategies while working with PR agencies to then execute across U.S. market franchises. Created and monitored Google AdWords PPC advertising campaigns across multiple markets. Managed Zimbra open source email system in a high volume and high availability environment and DNS using DynECT Enterprise. Working with the point-of-sale provider to request and test new software add-ons allowed for greater park efficiency and customer throughput. Provided technical direction to Russian and Australian licensing partners when entering new markets. Contributed a process that allows for a franchise to open electronic accounts in a specific order so that all required information is met validly as the franchise progresses onward through the phases on the way to unit open.

Managed an SMB branch network using routing and switching appliances provided by SonicWall, Netgear, and Cisco. Managed and maintained 20+ endpoints in a client/server environment. Deployed VLAN tagging for PCI DSS compliance. Maintained VoIP QoS in a high bandwidth environment using traffic shaping rules. Troubleshoot and deployment of point-of-sale kiosks. Troubleshoot and maintain high-speed label printers for park ticketing. Implementation of a customer-facing guest network having CIPA compliant layer 7 filtering. Custom implementation of application streaming service for group check-in using mobile devices. Implementation of endpoint protection and monitoring.
