I'm a Mechanical Engineer-In-Training, who graduated in June 2021, currently working with Rangeland Engineering as a Project Engineer EIT. I have experience working at multiple EPC's in project management and engineering relates roles for oil and gas projects. In my roles in Projects, I've learned and continue to learn management skills while handling multi million dollar projects, and the labor and capital resources associated with them. I have also completed a co-op work term at Suncor Energy as a Reliability Engineering Coop in Fort Hills. During my time at Suncor, I have learned about mining plants, along with the fundamentals of Reliability and Maintenance engineering. I worked with static and rotating equipment, developing and implementing MoC's in maintenance and reliability efforts.During my university career, I was a part of an engineering design team, Team Zeus, who make electric superbikes and innovate EV technology in hopes to hasten the speed at which electric motorcycles are available for the average consumer. During my time on the team, I served as a team lead and a senior design engineer for multiple motorcycles.I was also a key contributor in my Engineering Capstone project, which was to design an electric booster pack for a standard manual wheelchair. My efforts as project manager and in engineering design, allowed my team to win second place prize in the engineering design fair. Further information about the project can be found in my featured posts.Since my graduation, I have spent my time in Humanitarian efforts through the Assured Family Foundation, which is a charity that provides household staples to the less fortunate. I have also spent time in entrepreneurial efforts, working on smart home automation projects in Smartosity Inc. Lastly, I've made a constant effort to continue learning and have recently completed my Google: Automation in IT using Python Certificate through Coursera, and I am not in progress on Google: Data Analytics Certificate. I hope to use my knowledge to gain more opportunities for me to learn and progress in my career.
