* Landed project wins for Virginia with the announcements of Max Schlatterer GmbH in Chesterfield County and the US Tennis Association Mid-Atlantic Section in Loudoun County.* Led and managed lead generation marketing missions with our local and regional economic development partners that promoted Virginia across the United States for new jobs and capital investment.* Coordinated and led numerous site visits for companies looking to evaluate potential sites in Virginia for location decisions.* Managed the rural and small metro tech and IT big push strategies for Virginia.

*Responsible for the development, implementation, execution, and marketing of the business development strategy for the City of Portsmouth Economic Development Department.*Directly managed, led, and landed 39 economic development projects totaling $26.3 million in new capital investment and 531 new jobs. Notable projects included Harbor Vista II, Starbucks, and Wawa.*Directly managed, led, and landed 10 additional economic development projects totaling $20.0 million in new capital investment and 209 new jobs. Notable projects included Boys & Girls Club of Southeast Virginia and Bloom Co-Working Space.*Worked in tandem with the business development team to land economic development projects totaling $918.2 million in new capital investment and 2,825 new jobs. Notable projects included Rivers Casino Portsmouth, Lineage Logistics, and Fairlead Integrated.*Managed the Economic Development Authority Local Incentive Program. Provided $526,349 in economic development grants to the Portsmouth business community to help with business attraction, expansion, and redevelopment initiatives.*Co-managed and led the COVID-19 Business Recovery Grant Program that provided $1 million in grants to 100 Portsmouth small businesses with 50 employees or less.*Represented the department on national business development and marketing missions in order to promote the City of Portsmouth as the smart move for business.
