The role disabilities played in my family and work life fueled my interest and digital accessibility quickly became my area of focus. Awareness of accessibility at UnitedHealth Group grew over time and so did demand for accessibility testing, training and remediation support. From my start as an Accessibility Engineer on our small team I have grown into roles that helped mature the practice and build capability in the organization at scale. Today I am grateful to be part of a thriving practice of exceptional accessibility professionals collaborating with hundreds of teams, stakeholders, leaders and other partners throughout the organization.
