Director of IT and Facilities Management is directly responsible for the successful delivery of all IT and facilities management related services repair and maintenance, procurement, environmental health & safety, critical environments, physical security, emergency preparation, disaster recovery, business continuity, furniture fixtures & equipment installation/maintenance/inventory, budget development tracking and variance reporting for all facilities and properties placing emphasis on excellent customer service, operational efficiency, and aligning with organizational goals and objectives. This position oversees the contract IT support team, its members and its relationship with Thomas Eye Group. Lead technical IT discussions with clients, prospects, consultants, and vendors as needed. Lead the IT team as they guide the organization in areas that are very dynamic, increasingly complex, and involve collaborating with suppliers, outside organizations, and internal stakeholders.This position will focus on planning and implementing strategic programs to enable infrastructure and networks to operate and scale reliably for a fast-growing organization. Also serves as HIPAA Security Officer for purposes of compliance to HIPAA and other clinical regulations.

Develop and maintain IT infrastructure for Chestatee Regional Hospital and multiple satellite practices. Responsibilities include design, deployment, and maintenance of the network, servers, proxy servers, NAS, VM’s, PACS, Telemedicine, and EMR’s (Medhost/HMS and EMDS), all within an internal and a hosted cloud environment. Provide 24 hour support for 200+ employees. Manage an IT Clinical Systems Analyst and an IT Intern. Negotiate contracts for all IT related services; collaborate with other departments on contractual needs and services. Train new employees on HIPPA policies and best practices. Migrated PDC, DHCP, and DNS servers to new domain.
