CONFEDERATION OF INDIAN INDUSTRYCII is a premier Industry Association for Indian Businesses and is 125 years old. It caters to industry demands and aspires to take Indian Industry to heights of achievement and stability. My role in CII has been of technical expert and following were special projects undertaken so far.• • 2016-2017 – Developed assessment system for companies on action towards biodiversity conservation and sustainable use. The assessment was later integrated into CII-ITC sustainability awards . Managed a team of 2 to developed the assessment system and scoring matrix. Managed a team of three to develop a platform for businesses to interact on biodiversity by developing GIZ funded “India Business and Biodiversity Initiative ”. • 2017-2018 – managed a team of 5 to develop Natural Capital Valuation methodology for companies following Natural Capital Coalition’s “Natural Capital Protocol”. • 2018 onwards – Managing a team of 7 to build an award system for companies on Climate Change “Climate Action Programme - CAP” 2.00 funded by DSM India. CAP 2.00 is a premier capability and capacity enhancement award program of CII and aspires to step up the level of action on climate change by Indian Industry.• 2015 – till date – provided advisory services to 20 Indian Industry on various sustainability areas such as water, energy, environment management system, risk management, supply chain, climate change and CSR. team size of 2-5 were used in all the projects.• 2015 – till date – have worked on policy advocacy work of CII with Government on areas of climate change, biodiversity and renewable energy. Participated on behalf of CII in Global Partnership on Business and Biodiversity at Finland and Paris. Took industry delegation to Climate Change Conference of Parties (COP) -24, Katowice, Poland. • 2016-2017 – worked with a team of three to develop ESG rating and Social Return on Investment (SROI) calculation tool for industry.

My role also included interaction with MoEF, clients, banks and validators for smooth execution of projects.
