Improved standardization via migrating to X9 electronic checks, NACHA Wires, ISO-8583 card transaction formats and same day settlements. Enhanced for real-time payments authorization with fraud alerting (IBM MQ, WCF) of debit card transactions, originating from FirstData STAR network• Led development of a solution for Credit card/Debit Card/Checkbook order management (AngularJS, Javascript, Dotnet, Rest Apis). Initially used by banking back-office operations teams, on behalf of HNI customers. Reduced operations overhead and improved process efficiency by exposing self-service api options, via online & mobile channels

• Led a 15 member product team to design and deliver an in-house Api gateway framework (Dotnet, AppFabric, Couchbase) with support for Identity & access control, OAuth, Rate limiting, Traffic monitoring & analytics, scaling to 1200 tps/node with 50ms latency at 99th percentile. This framework underpins core domain apis like Stock, Pricing, Products etc. used by Tesco.com ecommerce platform and mobile app, that supports 35mn users every month and scales to 3k-5k tps for each service

• Recruited a hand-picked SME team of senior engineers, solution architects, performance engineers and mobile application experts across multiple tech stacks to setup a Technology CoE, reporting to Tesco India CEO and Centre head.
