• Design, code, test and commission automated conveyor systems for one of the largest material handling company using programmable logic controllers (Allen Bradley). • Analyze proposal to prepare Functional Document Specifications (FDS) and prepare electrical quote packages to ensure efficient installations and operations per customer requirements.• Create Electrical network drawings, layout drawings, power supply drawings, bill of materials and panel schematics.• Travel to customer sites for commissioning and startup of projects.

• Designs/sizes systems and composes techno-commercial proposals for high-performance Wet Electrostatic Precipitators (WESPs); interacts extensively with customers and conducts onsite WESP troubleshooting at domestic and international customer locations as part of a global, multi-million dollar gasifier project.• Performs electrical reviews within the company and utilizes AutoCAD to design and modify general layout drawings for prospective customer proposals; writes automation system functional design specifications for PLC programming. • Oversaw $500K inventory, sourced/secured components and managed all aspects of the project completion and delivery process. • Gained and applied knowledge of mechanical engineering/manufacturing concepts, low and high frequency power suppliers, nominal pipe size/nominal bore piping standards(NPS/NB),National Electrical Manufacturers Association enclosure codes(NEMA) and Classification of Hazardous Locations in accordance with Article 500,NEC-1990.

• Improved voltage stability 19% and power output performance 18% (e.g. in unsuccessful re-closing for 3-line to ground fault) by conducting a comparative model based simulated study between three methods namely Pitch Control, Thyristor Switch Control (TSC) and Superconducting Fault Current Limiter (SFCL) to identify the most effective method in stabilizing a fixed-speed wind energy system against voltage instability and fault current limitation.• Evaluated results to determine the most stable technology to use when implementing the energy system into existing power networks/grids. • Built and simulated SFCL and TSC models in MATLAB; authored end of research paper for publication/presentation at IEEE PES Innovative Smart Grid Technologies (ISGT) Conference.
