Arnold is a hospitality, real estate, and finance professional from Costa Rica with a Bachelor of Business Administration in International Hotel Management from Les Roches, graduating with honors and distinction.He began his career with Rosewood Hotels & Resorts, working with the Guest Relations team at Rosewood London and later supporting corporate initiatives in Los Angeles. Arnold then joined Hotel Investment Partners (HIP) in Barcelona, the largest leisure hotel investment platform in Southern Europe, owned by Blackstone. There, he contributed to the Transformation Strategy team, helping deploy a €500M+ renovation budget across 60+ hotels throughout the Iberian Peninsula, Balearic Islands, and Canary Islands.In 2019, Arnold returned to Costa Rica to join CREO Capital, a real estate private equity firm focused on the intersection of real estate and impact investments across Latin America. Initially serving as Investment Associate, and later as Junior Partner, he led underwriting and operational efforts, with a primary focus on hospitality investments in the region.Today, Arnold is back with CREO Capital as Vice President, Investments, where he’s excited to support the firm’s growing investment activity and expand its footprint in the Latin American market. He is particularly passionate about CREO’s work in the hospitality sector, an area that aligns closely with his background and interests.Alongside his role at CREO, Arnold is also actively involved in Nummi, a financial technology startup he co-founded in 2021, which became Costa Rica’s first peer-to-peer lending platform.
