Fellow working on Electronic Engineering and Hardware development at the Nano Satellite and Payloads Laboratory at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC) - BarcelonaTECH (Signal Theory and Communications Department - Remote Sensing LAB)The Nano Satellite and Payload Laboratory at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC) - BarcelonaTECH is a satellite laboratory dedicated to design and build Earth observation payloads and Systems for nano-satellites (CubeSats).I am working on Electronic Power Systems (EPS) and Hardware development in various missions (satellites) at the Lab.Actually the Lab is working on two missions to be launched in mid 2016:- 3CAT-1: 1-Unit CubeSat developed entirely by the Lab with the objective to be one of the most advanced 1-Unit technology demonstrators CubeSats. I am responsible for the Electric Power System (EPS), including solar panels, batteries and power management. (Launch Date: Mid 2016 on a Falcon 9 from Vandenberg AFB).- 3CAT-2: 6 Unit CubeSat to fly a GNSS-R payload designed and build by the UPC-BarcelonaTech. The GNSS-R payload flew on a BEXUS (ESA's stratospheric ballon) at Esrange Space Center in October 2014. It will also carry an experimental Magnetometer for the future ESA's LISA mission and a Star Tracker as secondary payloads. I am responsible for Star Tracker's hardware development and implementation. (Expected launch: August 2016)
