Within Airbus’s research and technology department of Airbus, my objective was to develop a cooling system for a high-powered electrical motor control unit. This process considers both mechanical and electrical constraints along with thermal performances. This internship allowed me to gain experience in analyzing and designing of complex devices and working with different teams to reach a compromise.As an intern : • I conducted a bibliographical study • I chose a heat transfer fluid • I defined a cold plate geometry • I ran simulations of the thermal performances • I performed mechanical strength analysis • I made initial contact with suppliers

In the aeronautics and aerospace research department, this internship concentrated on the instrumentation of an autonomous guidance, navigation and control system for spaceships in relative motion, with a wireless communication system.As an intern : • I chose a communication module • I programmed the Arduino and the module • I interfaced the Arduino with Matlab/Simulink
