Passionate about video games since I was a child, I grew up playing with my older brother, first on consoles, then on computers. It was when I discovered the Indian Ocean Image Institute (ILOI) that I realized it was possible to learn how to develop video games. From then on, I assiduously followed my studies in this institute, which I then continued at the twofour54 Gaming Academy, in the United Arab Emirates.Working for Ubisoft Abu Dhabi was invaluable. I developed many skills, such as the Agile/SCRUM work methodologies required in the industry, as well as the responsibilities of a Level Designer. Working tasks included designing level mock-ups, balancing and adjusting the user experience to ensure product quality, providing feedback to other designers regarding game or level design features, writing test and bug reports on JIRA for QA teams, and integrating assets created by the art teams.Back in Reunion Island, I created my video game design and development company, Pixel Sunset Studio, with to date 12 games published on mobile phones, and 1 game on PC and XBox console (coming to Switch), as well as a board game.I am also a pedagogical referent and video game trainer at the Institut de l'Image de l'Océan Indien (ILOI), where I was trained.Finaly, I'm an Administrator at Collectif Bouftang, the regional association of professionals from the local gaming industry. I co-organized the "Volcano Game Jam" (a local game jam) in 2019, 2021 and 2022, culminating in more than a hundred participants. Fell free to contact me ;)
