While hiking in boreal forests and travelling across the Southern Ocean, I had the chance to contemplate the spectacular land and seascapes of nature’s preserved riches. In places where this natural heritage is already being deteriorated, I have studied and weighed the direct consequences of such degradation on the most vulnerable people.Building on my first work experiences anchoring an ambitious environmental agenda within local territories, advocating with European institutions and negotiating within the United Nations, I am committed to designing and implementing actions towards both nature conservation and the protection of vulnerable communities. To this end, I wish to use my listening and synthesis skills, my ability to provide sound analysis and draft strategies, as well as my advocating and negotiating skills. I will bring the same dedication to show openness, caring and commitment in my daily work, as I believe that such personal values are also critical in drafting innovative and field-proven solutions to contemporary challenges.
