As a project manager, I am in charge of the new watches projects for a portfolio of European customers. I am responsible of the technical development of the project until the delivery of the production on time. - Piloting multiple projects (average of 40 contemporaneously from the unique piece to the 80’000pcs connected watch) for a portfolio of 10 customers. - Defining the objectives of the project (retro planning, homologation plan and project milestones) together with the customer based on the product launch date. - Ensuring on time delivery of customer orders (100+ references, high mix) and taking strong action (recovery plan, double-sourcing) if required.- Accompanying customers in the technical development of the product. - Inspecting personally the pre-production parts before shipment both aesthetic and dimensional.- Coordinating the communication with customers and suppliers.- Leading suppliers toward excellence, through 3 main directions : 1. Pioneering the use of cutting edge technologies and materials like HyCeram, Flax fiber, amorphous DLC. 2. Guiding the installation of new tool: CMM, internal laboratory. 3. Educating about best practices: on line SPC, 5S, visual management.- Establishing KPIs and monitoring performance.

As part of my 6-month graduation project, I initiated the study of an innovative automatic module on an existing caliber. Released 4 years later with a thickness of only 4.30 mm, the caliber 910P broke the world record for the thinnest automatic wristwatch. - Redacting a state of the art about automatic winding systems by analyzing patents and specialized press.- Formalizing winding power equation using mechanical works approach.- Designing a laboratory prototype in order to validate the theory.- Confronting the design ideas with the technical director and senior engineers.- Dimensioning the oscillating mass using the above equation + key parameters identified with the prototype.- Optimizing the energy dissipation by removing one gear compared to a traditional design and using a ceramic ball bearing (-20% friction). - Implementing the best solution on the existing watch using 3D parametric software (CREO).

Through a continuous improvement approach, I led the extension of an assembly line and the relocation of a pre-assembly workstation.
