I’m a NY-based developer from Singapore with a deep curiosity for technology. I'm especially interested in the applications of AI in finance, sustainable tech, cloud computing, and audio technology. I hold a degree in Computer Science from Bard College, and my professional experience includes impactful work with financial firms like Morningstar and music-tech startups like Musiio by SoundCloud and Soundbrenner. Currently, I'm working as a part-time software engineer with Prof. Valerie Barr and the Alliance For Identity Inclusive Computing Education (AiiCE) and with Tona.ai, creating AI-driven tools for music professionals. I also love building software on the side —  I'm currently building GrooveTrainer, a web-based metronome app with advanced features. More recently, I’ve been diving into algorithmic trading, blending technical analysis with my software background to build tools in finance.I also hold a degree in music performance and recently went on tour across three cities in China with GRAMMY-winning composer Tan Dun. I've also seamlessly blended my two passions and have used programming extensively in my musical endeavors; I've written algorithmically generated compositions with Python and Max/MSP, and my final project at Bard was aimed at training a transformer model to be a real-time improvisational partner. I am also deeply passionate about social impact and accessible education. As a volunteer with the Bard Prison Initiative for 3 years, I had the privilege of teaching computer science to incarcerated students in maximum security prisons, giving them alternatives for a better future as they integrated back into society.When I’m not drumming or coding, you’ll find me playing ultimate frisbee, working out, or hanging out with my (very overweight) cat!Let’s connect!
